About Us
Dr. Bancuk is a 1982 graduate of the University of Detroit School of Dentistry, where she also served as an instructor after attaining her dental degree. Originally from Grand Rapids, Dr. Bancuk attended Grand Rapids Junior College and the University of Michigan prior to pursuing her degree in dentistry. Dr. Bancuk is a caring family dentist, providing treatment in all aspects of general dentistry, with a strong interest in periodontics and preventive care. Upon graduation from dental school Dr. Bancuk received an award from the American Academy of Periodontology for excellence in the field of periodontics.
She still maintains membership in the American Academy of Periodontology as well as the Academy of General Dentistry, the R. W. Bunting Periodontal Study Club, the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association. In 1993 Dr. Bancuk earned the distinction of receiving the Fellowship Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, being recognized by other general dentists as a leader and an example of the importance of continuing dental education to quality patient care. Dr. Bancuk has practiced dentistry in various offices in the Detroit area and has always wanted her own
practice. That goal was achieved in December 2000.
